Local to the San Fernando Valley, I am a California dual-licensed occupational therapist and massage therapist offering services directly to you and/or your loved one in the comfort of your own home, in-person or virtually, for... - Functional skills coaching for self-care tasks (dressing, hygiene activities, hair care, self-feeding, etc.) - Recommendations for adaptive strategies and equipment to increase your independence to do the things you want and/or need to do - Support to routinely and properly complete any home exercise program provided to you from your current outpatient therapy program - Recommendations for any needed Durable Medical Equipment aka DME (e.g. tub transfer bench, bedside commode, etc.), and/or set-up of DME and instruction on proper usage - Strategies for non-Rx management of minor to moderate chronic pain including soft-tissue massage, gentle targeted deep-tissue massage, and assisted stretching, etc. - Caregiver coaching to assist you in strategies to care for your loved one to the best of your ability while decreasing physical and emotional burnout I specialize in working with seniors, adults, and older teens who are motivated to work in cooperation with me to achieve their functional goals. I am out of network with all insurance companies. I choose to contract directly with my clients and avoid restrictions placed on my services by third party payers. Why Don't You Take My Insurance? I believe you deserve the best! My mission is to provide the highest quality healthcare to every client, every visit. Unfortunately, insurance companies make this nearly impossible to achieve. Because of this, I choose to be out of network with insurance so that every visit is performed by your Occupational Therapist, and you extract maximum value from the entire duration of your session. How can I pay? As a cash-pay therapist, I understand that paying out of pocket isn't always easy. As such, I accept electronic payments through Stripe, which includes pay-over-time services such as Klarna and Affirm. That said, due to current regulations, I am unable to accept even cash-paying traditional Medicare or Medicaid clients at this time. Cash-paying Medicare Advantage clients may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
